Yes, all you folks north of the equator are screaming for spring, long sunny days and balmy nights.
Which means it's time for me to start thinking about rugging up for autumn - weeeeee!!
Finally a chance to wear this 1950s green cotton "secretary" dress without melting into a puddle of sweat.
Actually, styled this way, the dress seems more WWII women's services uniform than the Mad Men look I'd planned.
Instead of badges, I'm wearing a few brooches clustered together and I've added one of my favourite hats, a 1950s cheeky little velvet leopard-print number.
Fancy a bit of dictation Mr Draper? Don't mind if I do!
So much animal print, so little time.
I couldn't decide between my hat and my pin-up lady hair clip from Miss Rockabilly Vintage.
Then there's the leopard-print belt and eel-skin clutch.
Oh I'm sorry. Are you looking at my Vivienne Westwood Melissa shoes?
I grabbed them on sale - half price and still a few left. Quick!!
I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I noticed they had them in this green-gold colour in my jumbo sizing!
I was so happy with how today's outfit turned out, I popped a button!
I scored the clutch for $8 on a brief thrifting excursion yesterday.
Plenty of room for all my rubbish.
I love this cheeky little pin-up girl that I've had for about 20 years - my angelic beauty in all her perfectly buxom glory.
I hope you're having a wonderful week my lovelies.
Desiree xoxo

Hiya! Being a green queen myself, I adore this outfit! Here's the kicker: I have a 1950s leopard beret I purchased about 1979-80 nearly exact! But wait, there's more-- I have the same shoes in that colour too! YAY!
