Abso-frockin-lutely!

I have circuses on the brain today in preparation of a circus costume exhibition I'm attending tomorrow.
The harlequin tights, black velvet dress and red wool cape feel like the perfect way to rev up for plenty of costume mania.


A beautifully sunny day but very cold ... so out come the gloves and a favourite cape ... eeeeeee!!




The Phoenix popped out with a fresh cuppa and snapped off these pics for me - can you tell?

    Oh, that cape and those tights--how fantastic! You've evoked all the drama and delight of the circus perfectly here. That exhibit sounds as if it'll be amazing as well... circus costumes are the best costumes, of course!

    Ah! I love this outfit! Those tights are awesome, and that cape is wicked. Those heels are killer, too. Just all around awesomeness going on here. And the printed velvet sleeves, I could die. :D

    I am in heaven looking at this outfit. You look DIVINE! Oh how I want a red cape now! And the dress and stockings are amazing! I am Friday frocking in that I am wearing a frock on Friday's but have had noooo time to take an outfit shot - oh well maybe next Friday.

    Perfectly perfect! Those tights absolutely make the whole ensemble. You look fabulous. I have to do dress-up Saturdays as I've been confined to school uniform on Fridays - BUT, only for one more week and then I can wave goodbye to the uniform and recycle it. My frock for today was a vintage silk maxi Laura Ashley shirt dress. Great for swishing around and revising in!
