Today I went to court and got divorced. Hallelujah, after 15 years, it's the first day of the rest of my life. Relief and peace at last. Thank you to my Phoenix for his abundant love and patience. This is what I wore.
Congratulations and all the best for your new future. I am assuming this is a vintage lace dress - you look stunning in it. Good for you to celebrate starting your new phase in life with a drop dead gorgeous look.
Thank you my lovely, yes it's a vintage late-1950s suit and feels very Mad Men. I had people opening doors for me and letting me out of the lift first - must be a power suit of a different era huh? ;)
When something doen´t work better out. Congratulations on your freedom and all the best for your new beginning. Love your outfit to get divorced in, classy!!!
Congratulations. I had no idea you were going through such a gnawing trouble. How will you celebrate? (And thanks for a peek at the rest of that magnificent teal suit!)
Girl power! Congratulations! You look very happy, revlieved and gorgeous. You know there's a trend at having divorce parties? Have a wonderful evening.
Looking FABULOUS as usual, and also 'go girl', ever the snappy dresser, he's missed out! Thanks for your comment bab, if your ever on a budget and you want something like vikrolf try Ghost Sweetheart! MADMSL.x
Thank you all so much for your very kind comments, it's meant a lot to me to feel those positive vibes flying in from around the globe:). You're all so gorgeous, I admire each of you and love how you live your lives as awesome power chicks! Terri, I didn't get any coaching on what to wear, all I felt was that I just didn't want to wear black as it was a positive day and didn't want to look funereal. It worked - I felt light and happy. xoxo

I must know--did your lawyer coach you on what to wear in court? I was instructed to dress very conservatively for the judge...
ReplyDeleteAnd best wishes for this new beginning.
